About the scholarship
The Massey University Alumni Doctoral Scholarship supports Massey graduates undertaking doctoral research of strategic value to the University. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and strategic research priorities, and are open to students who have completed study at Massey University. There are scholarships for full-time and part-time candidates enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or our named doctorates. The expectation is that recipients will enrol in their doctoral study no later than 1 June of the year of award.
Entry requirements
You should have graduated with a degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) from Massey University and have a conditional or unconditional admission offer of place in a doctoral programme at Massey University, or be enrolled within the first 12 months of a doctoral degree at the time of application closing date. Include a research outline including the key disciplinary area(s) of research in the proposed project, the aims and significance of the study, and the theoretical and methodological frameworks (200-1000 words). A completed Supervisor Support Template must be uploaded in the Student Portal when you apply for the Massey University Alumni Doctoral Scholarship.
