About the scholarship
Open to New Zealand-born Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who are experiencing financial hardship. The bursaries are awarded in the final year of study at Massey University. Hugh MacDiarmid was a veterinarian who dedicated his life to treating and caring for animals. In 2013 Hugh's sister established the Hugh MacDiarmid Memorial Bursary Fund in memory of her brother.
Entry requirements
New Zealand born resident. High achievement. Specific programmes only. Include the following with your application: one academic reference from a lecturer at Massey University who teaches in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science programme and is familiar with your capability; one work experience reference from someone in the veterinary area who has worked closely with you; your CV; an annual budget including all expected income and expenses. You must provide an annual income total and an annual expenses total. You may use the budget template linked below.
