About the scholarship
The John Alexander Milne Scholarship is for students undertaking research in ovine (sheep) fertility and reproduction. This scholarship was established through a bequest from John Milne, a veterinarian who dedicated his life to the field. The scholarship supports master's research students focusing on sheep reproduction, including studies aimed at understanding reproductive biology, economic impacts of impaired reproductive performance, or improving reproductive performance in New Zealand sheep flocks.
Entry requirements
You must be a New Zealand citizen enrolled or intending to enrol in the research component of a master's degree. Include a brief research proposal highlighting the alignment of your research to the scholarship purpose. Please refer to the scholarship regulations for more information.
