About the scholarship
The Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington Hardship Fund Equity Grants are designed to assist students facing financial hardship, encouraging them to continue their studies. Established in 2000, these grants provide financial support to both domestic and international students enrolled at the university.
Entry requirements
Applications are open to all students currently studying at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, including domestic, international, undergraduate, postgraduate, part-time, and full-time students. Applicants must be enrolled in the trimester they are applying for. The grants will be awarded based on financial need and satisfactory academic commitment and progress. Factors considered include high course costs, transport costs, medical conditions, family support, and other relevant circumstances.
