About the scholarship

This Scholarship was established in memory of Ormond Wilson, farmer, politician and scholar. It supports school leavers who are looking to study their first undergraduate degree under either Wellington Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences or Wellington Faculty of Science at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be entered for the NCEA Level 3 and/or Scholarship examinations in the year prior to starting studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, be under nineteen years of age on the first day of December of the year prior to starting study, be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents, and be enrolled or intending to enrol full time for the first year of any bachelor's degree offered by the relevant faculties.
