About the scholarship
This scholarship has been established in memory of Associate Professor Teresia Kieuea Teaiwa, a renowned scholar, activist, and poet. It supports Pacific students pursuing Pacific Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship aims to honor Teresia's legacy and her significant contributions to the Pacific community.
Entry requirements
Applicants must declare Pacific Studies as their major or joint major and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate programme at Victoria University of Wellington in the year following application. School leavers must have NCEA Level 2 endorsed with Merit in Year 12. Current undergraduate students must hold a GPA of B (5). Evidence of financial hardship may be required.
