About the scholarship
This scholarship has been established in memory of Associate Professor Teresia Kieuea Teaiwa, a renowned scholar, activist, and poet. It supports Pacific students pursuing studies in Pacific Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship honors Teresia's significant contributions to the lives of students and aims to alleviate financial hardship for Pasifika students.
Entry requirements
Applicants must declare Pacific Studies as their major or joint major and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate programme at Victoria University of Wellington in the year following application. School leavers must have NCEA Level 2 endorsed with Merit in Year 12. Successful applicants must gain University Entrance or equivalent and achieve Merit endorsement in NCEA Level 3 by the start of trimester 1 the following year. Current undergraduate students must hold a GPA of B (5). For more details, please refer to the guidelines.
