About the scholarship
The scholarship is to support a Ngāti Tūwharetoa undergraduate student at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington studying Environmental Management or Environmental Science. The scholarship aligns to the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board Mahere Rautaki 2021-2026: Pou Taiao. We are kaitiaki of our moana and awa This pou encourages the active protection of our wai and natural environment inclusive of mātauranga Tūwharetoa. This scholarship is co-funded with Te Herenga Waka to support Ngāti Tūwharetoa participation and success at the University and the strategic direction of the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board as outlined in the Mahere Rautaki 2021-2026.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be: * enrolled fulltime at Victoria University of Wellington for an undergraduate qualification * studying in one of the following areas: Environmental Management or Environmental Science * registered with the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered. Applications will normally open one month prior to the closing date. If no application link is provided below, check back again closer to the closing date.
