About the scholarship
The Clare Galambos-Winter Scholarships were established to support students in the New Zealand School of Music who demonstrate exceptional talent in violin performance. The purpose of these scholarships is to foster the performance careers of exceptionally talented musicians who have demonstrated a strong and clear commitment to a career in violin (or cello) performance.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a student in violin performance (second choice, cello performance). Applicants must be intending to enrol or be enrolled in an Honours/PG Dip in Music at the New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. Applicants may be up to 25 years of age at the time of their application.
