| Value | The Welcome to New Zealand scholarships are each worth up to €8,000 and enable you to study at one of New Zealand's top world-class universities and colleges. The scholarship covers part or all of the tuition fees for students who want to start studying abroad in the winter or summer semester of 2023. One scholarship of €8,000 and 4 scholarships of €3,000 will be awarded. |

The country with the best education system in the world awards scholarships for a study visit to a New Zealand university of your choice.The scholarships are aimed at students who are interested in spending a semester abroad or studying in New Zealand and who are enthusiastic about the country and its excellent universities. How To Apply
You can apply for the Welcome to New Zealand Scholarship online using the application form. Your application will only be accepted in English . Applications in other languages cannot be considered.
If you already have a study place offer from a New Zealand university, then upload it using the application form. It is not necessary to have an offer of study at a university in New Zealand at the time of application. However, a study place is required for the payment of the scholarship. If you are one of the winners of the scholarship program, you could also look for a place to study in New Zealand at short notice - together with Education New Zealand. For example, a free university place placement service can also be used.
