The Scholarship is to the value of 50% of the recipient's tuition fees in their final year, up to a maximum of $3000. Applicants must be entering their final year of study as a full-time student in either a Bachelor's Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. If the recipient discontinues full-time study during the term of the Scholarship, the Scholarship will be relinquished and the recipient must pay back the full value of the money awarded to them. Selected students shall participate in a face-to-face interview with a member of the Bear Park leadership team before a decision is made to award the Scholarship. Award of the Scholarship is conditional on the completion of a satisfactory Bear Park Application for Employment Form and Risk Assessment for Children's Workers, including police vetting service. The Scholarship shall be awarded by the Directors of Bear Park, and in consideration of the advice received from programme, academic and professional leaders. If the recipient does not return the signed agreement documents by the specified date, the offer will lapse and the Directors of Bear Park may offer the Scholarship to another student.
