Nga Pou Karahipi

Nga Pou Karahipi were established to support our Maori students pursue and stay in their studies at Unitec. These karahipi offer various levels of funding support depending on student's needs and level of study. There are three different options available: Te Pou Aroha - to encourage Maori students who have achieved academic success, but are experiencing hardships that impact their studies. Te Pou Angitu - to encourage Maori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec in either a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor level programme. Te Pou Aupiki - to encourage Maori students who successfully complete their programme of study to continue their tertiary education at Unitec by either progressing into a new programme at the next level of study or beginning a new programme at the same level.
