| Length | Summer Research Scholarships will support up to a ten-week period of full-time research between 1 December and 28 February. The scholar is expected to normally contribute 337.5 hours over a 9 week period. |

About the scholarship
A Summer Research Scholarship is available in the Business School between December and March. The number of Scholarships offered in any year will be determined by the availability of funding and appropriate supervision. Summer Research projects may be co-funded by external organisations as Summer Research Scholarships offer a unique opportunity for external organisations, academics and students to work together in research.
Summer Research Scholarships support and enhance research at the University. Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provide promising undergraduate, final-year honours and first-year master’s degree students the opportunity to gain valuable research experience working with leading researchers at AUT. Summer Research can enhance career opportunities and encourage students to pursue postgraduate study by experiencing the challenges and rewards of research.
