About the scholarship
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides research scholarships to encourage postgraduate research and to recognise student academic achievement.
The office of Maori Advancement offers AUT Research Masters Scholarships - Maori Advancement to Maori students for postgraduate study at AUT. The office works closely with AUT Maori staff, students and the wider community in advising and implementing Matauranga Maori kaupapa throughout AUT.
AUT Research Masters Scholarship is available to full-time students undertaking a programme of research at Level 9 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) with a thesis component of 90pts or 120pt who have demonstrated the potential to achieve highly.
The Scholarships are available to AUT students or alumni intending to enrol in one of the following programmes; a limited number of scholarships may be available to high achieving graduates from other universities: · A Master of Philosophy · A Master’s degree by thesis or the thesis year of a two year Master’s programme with a thesis component of 120pts · An 180pt Master’s programme with a 90pt or 120pt thesis
