About the scholarship
The Amokura Scheme is a graduate engineering scholarship programme offered by the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN). You will attest into the Royal New Zealand Navy and complete Junior Officer Common Training (6 months). You will then serve as a Marine Engineer Officer ora Weapons Engineer Officer. During your first four years of service, you will receive a bonus of up to $10,000 per year in addition to your salary.

Entry requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or a Bachelor of Engineering Technology with a specialisation in mechanical, mechatronics, chemical, electrical or electronics, computer or software engineering. Meet the aptitude, fitness, citizenship, security and medical requirements for enlistment into the New Zealand Defence Force. Successfully pass an RNZN Officer Selection Board.
