About the scholarship
The Kia Atamai Te Whawhai Scholarship a salaried scholarship programme offered by the New Zealand Army. You will attest into the New Zealand Army, complete the New Zealand Commissioning Course (11 months), and graduate as an Officer into your chosen Corps. You will then be enrolled at Massey University (Palmerston North campus) to complete a three year Bachelor degree in one of the following disciplines of your choice: -Engineering -Applied Economics -Business -Arts -Communication -Science -Information Science -Sports Management -Sports and Exercise Upon graduation from university, you will commence your career as a NZ Army Officer. You are required to complete one year return of service for every year of sponsored study. The value of this scholarship includes all university fees and associated expenses plus a full time salary.

Entry requirements
- NCEA Level 3 with University Entrance. -Tertiary students in their first, second, or third year of sponsored study in an approved programme and/or specialisation. -Meet the aptitude, fitness, citizenship, security and medical requirements for enlistment into the New Zealand Defence Force. -Successfully pass an Army Officer Selection Board.
