About the scholarship

New Zealand Certificate in Language Teaching. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have a nationally recognized qualification from NZQA and the experience to work in New Zealand and overseas in such roles as language tutors, teacher aides, or language assistants. WIE can also assist you in preparing to find employment abroad, in countries like Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and others.

Entry requirements
Eligibility Criteria Be a New Zealand Citizen, Resident visa or Permanent Resident Visa holder, or Australia Citizen or hold a current Australian resident return visa and 18 years or older and at least 10 credits in NCEA level 2 English and At least IELTS 5.5, NZCEL Level 4 Certificate or equivalent if English is not the first language and Not be eligible for fees-free study in any tertiary school.
