Selection process Applicants will be considered by a selection panel from the New Zealand School of Education. The decision of the selection panel is final. Terms and conditions, additional information: Amount and type of award: • The number of new scholarships to be awarded is determined annually – NZSE reserves the right to add, change, adjust or remove scholarships at any time • Scholarships will be offered on a contestable basis to applicants who demonstrate a passion and talent for any of the disciplines available • The award consists of the tuition fees for the chosen or available course, certificate or diploma.
Eligibility criteria: • The applicant must be a New Zealand Citizen or a Permanent Resident for at least 3 years • The scholarship is awarded on the basis that applicant demonstrates a passion and talent for the available/chosen scholarship discipline • The applicant has inspirational career goals related to the programme of study.
Conditions of award: • The award will go directly into the applicant’s tuition fees • The scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other fees or scholarship/s • If the recipient withdraws from study during the tenure of their scholarship they may be expected to repay the full value of the scholarship.
First year Fees Free: • NZSE is offering fee-free study to domestic students during their first year to help them to study, in accordance with government policy. To find out more about eligibility and details, click here • This offer is subject to funding confirmation from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and any other terms or conditions imposed by government authorities. Terms and conditions and entry criteria apply to all study.
General fee information: • For tuition fees and course-related costs please call NZSE on 0800 99 88 11 or email mailto:[email protected] to request a course information pack. All programmes are NZQA accredited and students can get student loans for the entire fee amount. For more information please refer to Student Loans Allowances. • You can also fill out our online enrolment form and we will respond within 48 hours.
Student loans: • All New Zealand Permanent Residents are eligible to receive a student loan. • The School provides full assistance in applying for a student loan. An application can be made through the website www.studylink.govt.nz. Students can use the student loan facility for most courses offered at New Zealand School of Education. Students can pay their entire fee by student loan.
