EIT Institute of Sport Health - Master of Health Science Scholarship

About the scholarship

In collaboration with the EIT Institute of Sport Health (ISH), the EIT School of Health and Sport Science is pleased to announce the availability of a scholarship for study in 2021, for applicants enrolled in the Master of Health Science via research pathway: https://www.eit.ac.nz/programmes/master-of-health-science/ Who's this for? Students must be enrolled in the (180 credit) Master of Health Science (one and one-half year’s full-time) programme. Students must complete three courses at Level 8 (90 credits) and the Masterate Research Thesis Course at Level 9 (90 credits). What does it cover? This scholarship covers full fees (domestic student) for the 18-month programme which can be carried out full-time or part-time over two to three years and will allow a high - achieving student to carry out a research project utilising the state-of-the-art research facilities at the EIT ISH.

How To Apply

Candidates must complete the prescribed application form and must include the following: a. A verified copy of their Academic Transcript. b. A verified copy of the application to enrol into a Postgraduate programme. c. A written statement by the applicant (200 words maximum) on how this Scholarship will assist the applicant in furthering their study and career. d. A recent, named photo.

Entry requirements

  1. Candidates for the Scholarships must be enrol in the programme of a Master of Health Science at EIT via the research pathway. They must be enrolled in Masterate Research Thesis Course (MN9.490) for 2020.
  2. At the time of application, candidates must: ¦ Have achieved a grade average of A- or above (or with Distinction) in the last year of either, a Degree, or hold a Postgraduate Diploma or an Honours degree at level 8 from EIT or another New Zealand tertiary education provider.
  3. New Zealand citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply.
