About the scholarship
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides research scholarships to encourage postgraduate research and to recognise student academic achievement.
How To Apply
Applicants must complete the AUT Research Masters Scholarship Application online available through the AUT Scholarships Database www.aut.ac.nz/scholarships. Applications will open in October of the year preceding study for Semester 1 study or May for study in Semester 2. The following documentation must be uploaded to the application portal on or before the closing date.
Entry requirements
• Applicants must have completed their qualifying programme at AUT, or any other New Zealand University, no more than two years prior to the time of application. • AUT applicants must: o Achieve a minimum GPA of 7.5 (A-/A) across a 120pts in the final year of their qualifying programme; or o Be a recorded as having Maori or Pacific first ethnicity in ARION and achieve a minimum GPA of 7.0 (A-) across 120pts in the final year of their qualifying degree. o Applicants from universities other than AUT must have a minimum GPA of 8.0 (A) across the equivalent of 120pts in the final year of their qualifying degree. • Recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to reapply for support for the same programme of study/research in subsequent years. • Applicants must intend to enroll full-time.
