About the scholarship
Maia Maori Centre delivers a Maori Mentoring Scholarship programme based on a tuakana-tenia model. If you are enrolled in a full-time, full-year Unitec programme, you may be eligible for this scholarship, which is paid in instalments each term.

Entry requirements
Be enrolled in a full-time course at bachelor or diploma level (though Certificate level will be considered) at Unitec from Semester one
Be enrolled as a New Zealand Maori
Aged between 18-25 years (this is not a mandate, but a guideline)
Be enrolled as a first year student
