About the scholarship
The Kaihautu Matauranga Maori has travel grants to allocate to Maori students studying towards any postgraduate qualification at Unitec to attend a Maori Postgraduate Wananga.
The wananga are aimed at providing academic, pastoral and mentoring support to Maori postgraduate students studying at Unitec.
How To Apply
You should have the following information ready before you start the application because you cannot save and return to it.
*A summary of your personal circumstances and how you meet the Travel Grant criteria (150 word maximum) *A letter of support from your Supervisor, your Programme Leader or the Kaihautu *Proposed Travel Budget (outline travel costs, cost for participating in the Wananga)
Entry requirements
- You have been admitted to a Unitec Postgraduate Diploma, Masters or Doctoral programme and are not enrolling in a Postgraduate Certificate, an Undergraduate or Foundation studies program.
You are;
Applying for assistance to attend the Maori Postgraduate Wananga.
Committed to completing your course of studies.
Not a full-time Unitec staff member.
