About the scholarship
Trust Waikato is a philanthropic organisation established in 1988. It supports the things that make our corner of the world a better place.
Trust Waikato donates money to community organisations and projects that focus on welfare, sport, recreation, youth, art, culture, and the environment, for the benefit of people in our region.
The Waikato Institute of Technology administers some of that funding on behalf of Trust Waikato.

Entry requirements
The Fund is open to both domestic and international students at Wintec who meet all criteria outlined in detail in the 2017 Application Guidelines:
*The student wishing to apply must be enrolled in full-time or part-time study at Wintec, in a programme with a research component at level 7 (undergraduate) or above. *The student may only apply for funding of a research project prior to beginning the project. *The Fund can only be used for community oriented research projects and initiatives *All projects must also be consistent with the Trust Waikato fund application guidelines.
