About the scholarship
The award is available for study or research that fits within and contributes to the one of the NPM Research Programme and NPM’s priorities and themes. This award is not intended for the main purpose of studying for American degrees, completing doctoral dissertations, or attending conferences.

Entry requirements
To be eligible, you must:
*have a PhD or the equivalent professional or artistic training or experience; *show professional distinction, leadership skills, and strong ambassadorial qualities; *plan to undertake full-time lecturing or research which fits within one of Nga Pae o te Maramatanga’s research themes at a US institution for a period of three to five months; and *meet the citizenship requirements for this award.
