About the scholarship
The Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) Masters Scholarship has been established by the Wintec Postgraduate Office and was offered for the first time in 2012. This scholarship is open to students who have excelled in their postgraduate studies (level 8) either through Wintec or another tertiary education provider in New Zealand and wish to pursue Masters studies at Wintec.
One scholarship will be awarded each year to a maximum value of NZD 2,000.00.

Entry requirements
*This scholarship is open to New Zealand domestic and international students. *Have achieved a grade average of A- or above (or with Distinction) in the last year of either a Postgraduate Diploma or an Honours degree at level 8 from Wintec or another New Zealand tertiary education provider. *Have applied to enroll in their first year of Masters study at Wintec and are meeting all the entry requirements for one of the following Wintec programmes: -Master of Arts -Master of Nursing -Master of Science (Sport and Exercise Science)
