About the scholarship
Maori and Pasifika Trades Training Scholarships is a government-led training initiative whereby scholarships are granted to members of the Maori and Pacific Island communities.
If you are aged 16-40, of Maori or Pasifika descent, you are invited to apply for a Trades Training Scholarship. Scholarships recipients will receive free tuition for one year at either Whitireia or WelTec.
Entry requirements
You need to meet the entry criteria for the programme you are enrolling in and be: • of Maori or Pasifika descent • 16-40 years old at the start of your study • a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident • able to meet the entry requirements for your programme
