About the scholarship
Ora King also organises the annual Ora awards to recognise outstanding contributions from chefs working with the brand. They are awarded in four categories, best Ora King ambassador (international and domestic), and the best dish (international and domestic).

Entry requirements
*Applicants must hold a NZ residents permit or visa. They must have an up to date passport. There must be no constraints or issues relating to obtaining a visa to the applicant's chosen country. *To be eligible to apply for the Ora King Chef's Bursary, entrants must be at least 18 years of age and be currently working in the food service industry. They will ideally have held the position of sous chef or chef de partie for six months or more, although high calibre applicants in other positions may be considered. *To be eligible to apply for the Ora King Chef's Bursary, entrants must have the consent of their head chef or manager.
