About the scholarship
The Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Awards - The Leadership & Inspiration Award is sponsored by Air New Zealand. This award recognises a young person who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities by leading a project in their community, church or school or has acted in a way that has inspired others to make a positive change in their own life or the lives of others.

Entry requirements
Applicants must: • show how they demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities e.g. by leading a project in their community, church or school or by inspiring others to make a positive change in their own life or the lives of others • Describe what outcomes their leadership has helped achieve. Applicants must be: • aged 17-24 years of age at the time applications are called for • are New Zealand residents of Pacific descent • and can demonstrate that they are involved in their community.
