About the scholarship
AUT and Cyclone Computers offer AUT undergraduate and Postgraduate students the opportunity to apply for a Surface Pro tablet or an Apple MacBook Pro. The primary objectives of this award are to enhance the student learning experience and to increase study options for undergraduate and postgraduate students through the laptop scholarship programme.
How To Apply
Application for this scholarship is through the AUT online portal. To complete the application process all required documentation requested must be included. Incomplete or late applications will not be forwarded to the selection panels. The following documents or statements will need to be uploaded and submitted with the application by 12.00am midnight on the closing date. -Academic transcripts and certificates for any previous tertiary study completed at a university other than AUT. -A one page personal statement outlining your need for the tablet or laptop and how you feel it will assist your programme of study or research.
Entry requirements
-Previous recipients of an AUT Laptop scholarship are not eligible to re-apply. -Applicants will have normally gained at least an A- average in the year prior to the year of application or the year prior to commencement of their research degree. -The scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students and full-time postgraduate students. Full time is defined as enrolment in 120 points. -All applicants must have at least twelve months of full-time study remaining in their programme of study or research. -AUT staff members are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
