About the scholarship
To support early career Maori researchers who intend to disseminate their research at a national or international conference leading to the potential publication of their research.

Entry requirements
Maori students (post-graduate) and early career researchers (no more than 5 years post-doctorate) at one of NPM's 21 Partners.
Maori postgraduate students and staff employed at one of NPM’s Partner Institutions are eligible to apply but the priority focus of these awards is for career Maori researchers (who have completed substantive and independent research for the first time on or after 1 January 2013).
Preference is given to applicants who have not received a NPM Conference Attendance Support Grant in the past three years.
