About the scholarship
Open to students in the final year of a degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Commerce, Environmental Management or a related discipline that will lead to a qualification appropriate to employment in the agricultural consultancy field.
The award is a 9-day immmersion into the deer industry, experiencing the industry from top to bottom - spending time with experts in deer farming, research, advisory services and product marketing. All accommodation and transport costs are covered, with an additional $1,000 allowance to cover other expenses.
How To Apply
Applicants must apply in writing (letter or email) explaining why they would like to take part in the programme and why they feel they would be the most suitable applicant. They must also submit their record of academic transcript along with two written references which can be character or employment related.

Entry requirements
Applicants will be students studying toward a degree in Ag Sci, Ag Com, Environmental Management or a related discipline that will lead to a qualification appropriate to employment in the agricultural sector. Deer Industry NZ will also be willing to consider individual recommendations from industry contacts.

-Academic grades -Relevant course of study -A written submission on why they would like to take part in the programme -Two written references, either character or employment
