About the scholarship
As part of the MESNZ objective “To encourage New Zealand training into tertiary education and technology”, a Scholarship is offered each year, for the specific purpose of covering tuition fees.
How To Apply
Application forms are available from the MESNZ Executive Officer or online here. Applications must include the completed application form, along with a CV, 500 word essay on ‘Why I want to be a maintenance engineer’, evidence of involvement of a completed maintenance project, a copy of their most recent results, a professional and a character reference.
Entry requirements
'-This scholarship is available to assist students commencing study towards an accredited engineering degree, diploma or certificate from any year level -Students must be studying for either: Level 4 Certificate, New Zealand Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (scholarships can be awarded during any year). -Students must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents -Applicants shall be selected on the basis of: interest in maintenance engineering as a career, motivation to succeed, and academic merit.
