About the scholarship
This scholarship changed to the current name when the Wairoa Borough Council and the Wairoa County Council merged in 1986. Previously these local bodies provided the scholarship for many years under the Wairoa College Board of Governors Scholarship. The value of the scholarship has progressively risen in value from $1,000 in 1986 to $5,000 now.
How To Apply
Applicants must write a letter of application which together with a copy of their CV must be in the hands of the Year 13 Dean by 31 August.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be proceeding on to a recognised tertiary programme.
