About the scholarship
The Taranaki branch of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) with the support of the Taranaki Nurse Graduates’ Association (TNGA) has decided to honour the memory of the late Maureen Rowlands, by making an annual grant of not less than $150.00 to a third year student undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing programme at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki. For this purpose, the Taranaki Branch of the NZNO gifted the sum of $1,775.00 to be invested, so the award can be made from the interest accruing.
