About the scholarship
Each year we offer the Shirley McKenzie Scholarship. The amount varies each year and is awarded once a year, to more than one applicant. The scholarship is to support deaf people with training, mainly in areas that will contribute in some way to the welfare, education or well-being of other deaf people.

Apllicants must: -have left school -be current members of Deaf Aotearoa New Zealand Inc -have NZ citizenship or NZ residency
