About the scholarship
Hazel Florence Johnstone E.N. was born in Auckland New Zealand on 5th October 1923 and died on the 21st of February 2004. Hazel Florence Johnstone was proud of her qualification and role as an Enrolled Nurse. She trained at Auckland, entering the Auckland Hospital Board School of Nursing in 1967 as a student in the Registered Community Nurse programme and qualified in June 1969. Following qualification Hazel worked at Auckland Hospital and later in several private hospitals and residential care settings. She also served the community as a First Aider.

Entry requirements
Applicants must be:
• A qualified Enrolled Nurse enrolled in a course of study
• Or a student studying for an Enrolled Nurse qualification (in 2nd semester)
• A current financial member of NZNO.
