About the scholarship
The Kiley Family Memorial Trust Scholarships are awarded as follows:
Secondary Scholarships for Taranaki/Whanganui based students or Wellington based Catholic school students to pursue their secondary school studies.
Boarding scholarships for Taranaki/Whanganui based students or Wellington based Catholic school students to pursue their secondary school studies.
Tertiary scholarships for:
Secondary students who are in their final year of secondary education with a view to pursuing their chosen degree
Tertiary students who are continuing with their chosen degree
Preference is given to students from less well-off backgrounds who would otherwise have difficulty paying their fees and meeting other costs.
Applications for any field of study will be considered but further preference will be given to those students planning a career in agriculture related fields.
How To Apply
Applications are accepted from 1 August to approx the end of term 3 each year.

Entry requirements
Students who:
- wish to attend a boarding school or tertiary institution away from home
- have included agriculture in their field of study
- desire ultimately to take up a career in farming, farm management or an agriculture-based industry
- intend to enrol , or have enrolled, at St Patrick's College, Silverstream (preferably) or at any other Catholic Boarding School
- live in the Taranaki/Wanganui area
- have an interest in the care of horses
- are actively involved in sport.
