About the scholarship
These studentships, worth $5,000, aim to introduce research to undergraduate Pacific students wanting to develop their research skills with supervision and guidance from experienced senior researchers. They provide an opportunity to develop a career in health research by working on a 10-week project over the summer break.
How To Apply
Firstly, you'll need to register your intention to submit an application for this studentship. Registration must be completed online via HRC Gateway. Following registration, you'll need to submit a full application online via HRC Gateway using the 2019 Pacific health summer studentship application form below and then send a hardcopy of this application to the HRC.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for one of these studentships, you'll need to be a New Zealand citizen or hold residency in New Zealand, and be of indigenous Pacific descent (you can find our description of Pacific peoples on page 3 of the 2019 Pacific CDA application guidelines below).
