About the scholarship
Te Runanga-A-Iwi O Ngapuhi (‘the Runanga’) introduced and established the Ngapuhi Education Scholarships in 2003. The overall aim of the Ngapuhi Education Scholarships is to assist students registered on the Ngapuhi Iwi Register to: • Fulfil their potential for academic success; • Encourage applicants to contribute their knowledge and skills towards the wellbeing and development of Ngapuhi whanau, hapu and iwi.

Please read the Information Sheet and download the Application Form to complete and submit by 5.00 pm on Friday, 29th March 2019.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must: • Whakapapa to Ngapuhi and be fully registered with the Runanga • Be formally enrolled with a tertiary provider as a full-time Undergraduate or part-time Graduate or Post-Graduate • Be studying in New Zealand • Complete a 2019 Ngapuhi Education Scholarship Application Form and provide all information requested by the closing date. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.
• All sections of the application form must be completed. • You are not eligible to apply if you have been the recipient of a scholarship in the previous academic year.
