About the scholarship
The Trust was formed in 2007 to administer funds received from the sale of the Milford School property which was closed due to amalgamation. This was tragic because the school property was originally donated to the district by the late Mr J.T.M. Hayhurst on the 6th of March 1871 whereby he set apart land in trust for the use of children attending the Milford Public School and for the promotion of education of the said children.
The Trustees invite applications from people within the Milford area seeking study grants to enable them to undertake a tertiary or vocationaly education programme or a life skills course.
How To Apply
Return the completed application to Milford Community Charitable Trust by 4pm on the closing date.
