About the scholarship
Nga Pae o te Maramatanga (NPM) is a Centre of Research Excellence funded by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and hosted by The University of Auckland.
To provide assistance to doctoral candidates to both complete and submit their doctoral thesis, or to prepare and publish from their doctoral research.
This grant supports candidates who are not in receipt of any other significant income during this period of completion or publishing.

Entry requirements
For Maori doctoral candidates:
*Currently enrolled at Nga Pae o te Maramatanga (NPM) partner institution who are in the final year of a doctoral degree; or who have recently submitted a doctoral thesis for examination; or
*Who have recently completed the final requirements for a doctoral degree and wish to publish their work.
