About the scholarship
The West Coast District Health Board is pleased to announce the West Coast Scholarship and Studentship Awards.
The Studentships are offered to tertiary students who are studying at a New Zealand University or Polytechnic in a health related career.

Evidence of tertiary enrolment for current year – with your name
Copy of tertiary results from previous year

West Coast DHB Process:
All applications that meet the registration criteria will go to a panel for review and selection. The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All applicants will be notified of the results by telephone or email.
Entry requirements
Must have resided on the West Coast for minimum of 1 year.
Be currently enrolled at a recognised NZ University or Polytechnic.
Must be studying in an undergraduate health related career.
Must have completed their first year of undergraduate study.
Students must be available to work from Monday 21st November to
Friday 24th December inclusive and on a regular working week.
One of the four studentships will be available to students with Maori or Pacific Island heritage.
