About the scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to acknowledge the contribution students make to their r¯unaka and local community. It is offered to four students (one from each of the four local R¯unaka), for study in a chosen programme at Otago Polytechnic. Full fees are paid for the duration of study.
How To Apply
- Please send your completed application to the Runaka that you affiliate to well before the closing date.
- Please send a copy of your application to Te Punaka Owheo.
- Each Runaka will meet after the closing date and will then notify Te Punaka Owheo at Otago Polytechnic who the successful candidate is.
- The Kaitautoko/ Kaiawhina (Tauira Maori) will then send out letters to all candidates informing them of the outcome by the end of April 2019 at the latest.
Entry requirements
- You must already be registered with one of the four local R¯unaka: Te R¯unaka o Moeraki [email protected] Kati Huirapa R¯unaka ki Puketeraki [email protected] Te R¯unanga o ¯Ot¯akou [email protected] Hokonui R¯unaka [email protected]
- You must meet the academic entry criteria for your chosen programme of study.
- You must be a domestic student.
- You must pass your academic studies each year with a minimum of 50%.
- Your study must be continuous.
- You must be enrolled in a full-time, full-year course.
