About the scholarship
Research within the School of Art and Design brings together visual artists, spatial designers, fashion designers, filmmakers, curators, entrepreneurs, graphic designers, digital designers, product designers and other cultural practitioners from New Zealand and around the world to work on expanded notions of art and design through creative-led research.
How To Apply
Application for this scholarship is through the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) on-line scholarship application system. Application will be open from 1 November. Applicants will be asked to upload: · Academic transcripts for any study completed at a University other than AUT · A copy of the PhD Research proposal (PGR2) as provided in the application for admission to the PhD programme · A brief CV (2-3 pages only)
Entry requirements
· Applicants must provide evidence of past academic and research excellence and gain entry into the Doctoral programme at AUT · Applications will be assessed on the quality and contribution of their research and will demonstrate contribution to the overall research goals of the school Scholarships are only available to students who are able to commit to their research full time and who complete within the four year PhD candidature timeframe
