About the scholarship
The Jane Ferguson Scholarships were established in 1941 by Jane Ferguson to assist female orphans of academic merit to continue their studies when their financial or other circumstances would prevent them from doing so. The scholarship is available for various study areas including Architecture, Business, Design, Education, Engineering, Health, Humanities, Law, Music, Technology, and Science.
How To Apply
A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
Applications will normally open one month prior to the closing date.

Entry requirements
This scholarship is open to any female student who is an orphan by reason of death of both or one of her parents. Applicants must have outstanding academic ability and strong moral character. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens. Please refer to the scholarship guidelines for more details.
