About the scholarship
The Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship is the University of Waikato's premier school leaver scholarship. It supports school leaver students to excel in a sporting code or creative or performing art, to achieve high academic standards, and to develop leadership qualities through a tailored leadership and personal development programme.
Entry requirements
For school leaver and gap year students who demonstrate academic achievement, significant achievement to date and potential to further excel in either a sport or a creative or performing art, and a strong potential for leadership.
