About the scholarship
In association with The Kelliher Charitable Trust, the Foundation offers scholarships annually to students intending to study Economics at a New Zealand university. The scholarship covers the first three years of an undergraduate degree, with full fees being paid directly to the institution of the attending student’s choice. The scholarship is to be applied to Tertiary Course Fees only and is paid directly to a New Zealand university. Students with a proven ability in economics, and have economics as a major focus of their undergraduate degree, should apply.
Application is by way of completing the form on this page, and submitting it by the due date. A panel from the Kelliher Charitable Trust will assess the applications and interview shortlisted candidates.
For the Kelliher Economics Foundation alumni, consideration will be given to requests for funding at postgraduate level. In the first instance, contact should be made with the Trust Manager, who will advise you of the application process. The 2018 application form is now available here and completed applications are to be received by the Trust by 12 September 2018
