About the scholarship
The Norman Kirk Memorial Trust was established in 1976 to commemorate the life of the late Rt Hon Norman Kirk, Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1972 to 1974. It is administered by the Department of Internal Affairs and a Board of Trustees.

Entry requirements
Available to full-time Maori undergraduate students studying at a recognised New Zealand tertiary institute. Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need and academic merit.
