About the scholarship
This scholarship, which is funded by Jose and Donald Arthur, is in memory of their daughter Brittany who died suddenly of meningococcal disease in August 2016 just before she started her transition to practice placement. There are four scholarships available, at a total of $2,500 each.
Entry requirements
The Arthur family have requested that the scholarships be used by graduating students to assist their transition to registered nurse practice on completion of the Bachelor of Nursing. There are no conditions on how the scholarship is spent.
The scholarships are awarded to graduating nurses who have demonstrated that they are consistently empathetic and compassionate to others and have the right aptitude and attitude to be caring nurses.
