About the course
The purpose of the qualification is to provide all sectors of the drilling industry with people who can complete workplace duties under direct supervision. This is a pre-employment or entry-level work-ready qualification within the drilling industry.
Graduates will be familiar with drilling equipment and tools and have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely on a drilling site under direct supervision.
This qualification has been designed to be relevant to all sectors within the drilling industry. It has been made flexible to allow study or training to take place within a variety of drilling environments.
Graduates will be qualified in the drilling environment in which they studied or trained.
