This qualification includes practical and theoretical makeup knowledge for a range of clients and environments, such as film and TV, live performance and fashion (photographic and catwalk), as well as complimentary and in-demand services including lashes, brows and tanning. The course also covers the increasingly important business and marketing skills to make it in the freelancing world.

COURSE CONTENT - Beautician services: Skin, nail and hair care, tanning, lash and brow tinting, lash extensions and brow grooming.Consultancy services (Nail, makeup and hairstyling for a variety of private client occasions) Health and safety procedures. Film, TV, Live Performance and Fashion: Makeup and processes involved with Film and Television, Live Performance, Fashion Photographic and Catwalk (consulting, backstage requirements etc.). Business skills: Setting up and maintaining a freelancing business (understanding marketing, taxes, invoicing accounts and maintaining professionalism). Upon completion of this course, students will have knowledge and skills required to take them anywhere – from in-salon work to freelancing, to having the essential marketing skills to enable them to set up their own business.
